I am not sure if this is in this, but I believe there should be a ranking rule. This is what dea I have
Rule 7.) Rankings- Ranking is the amount of stars you have in your miniprofile. Under the star it should sday what position you are in battle. Note that if you are still a villager, and come across a battle wit ha master, than you are most likely not going ot win.

I understand your rule, and agree with your aspects. Although, I am admin of the site, I do not have complete power in requesting your rule to go up. I will talk to the other admin, and both of us will decide if the rule should be in the rule board.

I agree with your suggested rule. James and I think this is a good idea although not with staff. Members shouldn't try and mess with the staff. (It's just not a good idea. Hah.) New members shouldn't come up to high masters either. Sounds like only a fool would do that. We will add it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you for considering my rule. It is greatly appreciated. This site is really good, and I am so glad i have found it. You guys really put in a lot of effort around here, and I appreciate every drop of blood that was given to this site. I hope Arise my Friend will be successful, and have loads of new members like twom.

I don't want to be rude, but I'm not very much towards it just because if a brand new member were to create a bio and post, that's only two right there, and if it starts fighting with a much older member who would have a lot more posts, then the new member won't even have a say if he/she wins or not.

I see your point, ad respectit. Although, i nthe past, it has shown that many new members want just to take over the whoel site. It is hard to control these people. However, it is written down thatif your character is older than the other (i nage) than the rule is scratched out.

I think more should come into play then simply age and posts. Take my profile for example. Being raised amongst pirates would naturally lead to a rough upbringing with a tough out look on life. Not to mention having spent the past four years as captain of a ship pirating and building a reputation of fear. However, by your rules, I've only two posts (other than this) and my character is only 19... by your rules regardless of training and life experiences, he'd lose without a question.

You rare an acception. I was merely aggreing to the fact of bad and unloyal rpers taking over. If I see a character becoem more loyal to the site, than I think that they should be higher in rankings than others.

I agree with Aztec. There are a great many things that need to be taken into consideration for this. I think the bios themselves should provide how powerful the character is against another, based of course on history, physical being, personality, and who is on the character's side. If two characters are having problems figuring out who would win, then certainly an admin could step in to figure it out, could he/she not?
Age adds in a bit; surely a young girl could not defeat an older man given that the man would've been in more fights and the girl would've had a much shorter, less violent upbringing(though this can't be certain considering the plot for this site). However, if the girl was trained to fight by her parents and the boy wasn't, that would even out the odds quite a bit, wouldn't you say?
And I do not believe that it is possible for someone to take over the site IC. If we are talking about fighting Out of Character as well, then shouldn't the argument be judged on who makes a greater point and not who has more power on the site?
Correct me if I'm wrong.

For your saying about a young child could not beat a grown male, this part is true. If you think about it, my character was only six when she killed her family, and she had to defend herself from a lot of things. So I guess you could say that if a 13 year old went up against... Say a 30 year old, the younger one may have a harder time in the fight depending on his or her's past.
And I have seen people have over sites in character and out. They do this by telling people what to do, having a Mary Sue character, or just getting everything they want.

I suppose that's true, but since people need to be accepted before they can post, people take care of Mary Sues in the beginning. Also, since we're looking for it, it wouldn't be particularly easy to take control.
