Walking up..|"I hope I just survive the Journey"

[James Taylor]

The grounds were covered in snow and the winds felt as if ice was brushing off his face. James walked up the hill regretting every step he took. Why on earth did he not bring someone on the trail with him. He will regret that too.

About a mile or so, James finally saw the first flag waving in the air. The first sign of the Academy. he thought to himself.

A mutant academy layed in the mountains from above, and almost invisible to anyone who wasn't a mutant. James kept walking hoping to find the next flag.

Ash was stood not to far away, her hair blowing with the slight breeze. She had her bright blue eyes fixed on the scenery. She just stood there, not doing anything except staring. She didn't even know why she was taking this journey, but hopefully she'd meet another mutant on the way.
When she heard footsteps, she turned around to see James and tilted her head at him.

James looked up and noticed a woman up ahead. Maybe she was a sign to help him out. No, but what if.. What if she thinks of him as a human.

There was no time intrying to hide the manner. He had to tel lher there, for he had nowhere else to go.

Ash continued to watch James and she raised her brows slightly wondering if he was going to say anything. 'Okay ... is he a mutant or not?' she asked herself, moving some hair out of her face and flexed her long nails.

James looked up at the girl again. "Hey!" He yeleld threw the storm.

His stance was getting weaker as he climb closer to the girl. He knew that he only had so many steps left until being att he academy, but he wasn't sure how many. James spoke again "Hey, your going to help me out?" he asked.

[Ash Wolfe]

"Help you?" Ash asked as she walked to him, "Why would i help you?" she sounded quite bitter but that wasn't her intention. She noticed he looked a bit tired, probably from all the climbing. She tilted her head, "Are you alright?... Just know, that i'm not going to carry you the rest of the way." she muttered the last part as she watched James closely.

James got up. "Just need someone to direct me to the academy." he said.

James wasn't sure if he could trust her with that information. But then again, did he have a choice?

His silver eyes met her as he looked atthe girl eagerly. "Would you know where the Academy is if i pointed you to the direction?" he asked.

[Ash Wolfe]

Ashley considered him then turnt her back to him as she said, "You must be a mutant then." she said simply, "Otherwise you wouldn't know about the academy ... Hmm, just follow me." And she started to walk, waiting for James to follow.
She didn't yet trust him, she had only just met him, but she thought that she'd help him anyway. It wasn't like she was doing anything else right at that moment.

James thought to himself She is too easily trusted. SHe should know better

James followed he rto the academy as the winds blew faster into his face. He wasn't really sure that this girl was leading her to the academy. What if she is leading to him to a trap? He had no choice. James must trust her.

[Ash Wolfe]

Ash flexed her claws as she walked ahead. Should she take him to the Academy or not? She wasn't sure. She stopped and turned back round before growling, "I must know ... why do you want to go there?" she asked, her fangs clearly visible.

[James Taylor]

James silver eyes looked into her's. He wanted to clearly show that he wasn't lying. James was lost now (even though he didn't want to admit it) and needed help. James looked up. "An old friend of Mine I need to talk to is there." he said. "Why do you ask?"

[Ash Wolfe]

"I just needed to know ... there are alot of untrustworty people around. I don't want to lead just anybody there." Ash said as she crossed her arms. She looked right back into his eyes and nodded, "But you seem quite genuine. I will be keeping an eye on you though. Know that." She warned, "What is your name?"

[James Taylor]

"I am James Taylor, Representative of the Republic, and A hidden Mutant." eh said. He felt ashamed that he had to tell her this. "I am on a mission from the Mutant community to set things right in our lands. I do hope you understand me not telling you these pans. I am strictly prohibited to do so."

[Ash Wolfe]

Ash growled slightly, "A hidden mutant? ..." she then sighed, "Well it is nice meeting you James." she said as she held out a clawed hand for him to shake. "And don't worry, i'm not going to pry. Your plans are none of my business after all."

[James Taylor]

James slightly smiled. "thank youfor understanding, and I do exspect you to be silent on what we spoke about. my plans are for the better of man-kind." he said. James reached out his hand to shake hers. "It is nice to see another mutnt around. I speak with very few." he said referring to his political speakings.

[Ash Wolfe]

Ash nodded, "Yeah i kind of expected that. I don't talk to many other mutants either ... though that is my choice. Most of them are corrupt." she rolled her eyes slightly at this and carried on walking up the mountain as she wrapped her arms around herself to keep warm, "And i won't say a word about you to anyone... Well it's not like i have anyone to tell anyway." she growled slightly to herself.

[James Taylor]

James smiled. "Exiling yourself is a hard path indeed." he said. "Why did you choose htis path? Don't you want to see your people rise against the human community?"

James wante to know this. He wanted to know why shewas exiling herself. Did she loose a loved-one?

[Ash Wolfe]

Ash looked to the ground as she walked, "Just some things ... happened. I'd rather have complete peace between us and the humans. Even if i don't particulary enjoy human company." she snarled thinking of her past. "And I decided it's safer for me not to get too involved in either side." she shrugged, not wanting to discuss her real reasons with a complete stranger.

"i am just merely curious on why you deicded to e neutral." he said. "Not many people chose htat path."

The Academy layed up ahead. "It seems that we have found the place." he said wit ha slight smile. "Thanks for helping me out."

[Ash Wolfe]

Ashley nodded, "No problem." she said with her head tilted, "... My name is Ashley-Raine by the way." she added, remembering that she hadn't introduced herself. "Good luck with whatever is you're doing ... seeing a friend or whatever." And she turned round ready to transform into her wolf state.

"Thank you for the help." he said. She was realyl a person to trust. He was glad to finally see someone that was trustworthy. After all the betrayals he had in his life he was surprised to find someone that he could trust. Perhaos James found a friend today.

[Ash Wolfe]

Ash waved and then turned into a black wolf with white feet. She still had a scar across her eye and the branding on her arm. She ran up to James and nudged his hand slightly before walking away at a slow pace.
'He seems nice ... kind of calm.' she thought to herself as her tail swished from side to side.

James became white with the snow as he dessapeared from site. He entered the academy, and was greated by a friend. james walked in the door, and took one last look at Ashley. Was she going to be safe out there? he wondered as his grey eyes watched her movements.
